Thiru P.Sengottaiyan is founder and chairman of Senthil Group of Institutions, under Senthil Educational Trust. He has been running all the institutions sucessfully for more than 15 years.

Welcome to the Senthil Institutions. Choosing a college is one of the most important decisions that you will ever make. It can be the key that opens the door to a lifetime of opportunities for growth and service. We want you to base your choice of a college on relevant and reliable information. How well it turns out for you will depend primarily on the effort you invest in your own intellectual and professional development. Invest wisely and be assured that NCE faculty and staff pledge their best efforts in helping you attain your educational goals.

As you pursue your studies, please remember that a college education is not entirely academic. It extends beyond the classrooms, laboratories and workshops to campus organizations, seminars and meetings, cultural and social activities and athletic events. I hope that you will become involved in MCE campus life and that you will also make some commitment to serving your community. Besides being a cause for campus and community development, the effort can be educationally rewarding and personally fulfilling.

The meaning of the above stanza is "Self evident, nothing comes from nothing and nothing ever could success and achievements are commensurate with power, hard work, grit, resourcefulness and single minded approach."

The day has come when every student should realize that with globalization and the tumultuous changes we see in the International Scenario. Education has a great and specific role. Earlier higher percentage marks in examinations with distinction were the only criteria for top professional job of teaching, now the trends have changed and the students are chosen not just for good marks but more than they are tested for knowledge that they have retained with them.

Hence gathering knowledge, understanding and retaining are more important than studying for exams and getting higher marks.
